Renewing our school to give students a solid foundation for life.
Your Gift Will Be Matched!

As we contemplate the years ahead, we see a growing desire for Christian education.

Staying Faithful For Nearly 50 Years

As a community, we continue the legacy started in 1974, when a handful of Christian leaders launched what is now London Christian Academy.

After several moves in our early years, we landed at our current location on Charles Street in 2003. Our building, a former Catholic elementary school, has served us well for 20 years.

Recently, the facility is revealing its age, which affects how and what we can do. To give our nearly 200 students a place conducive to learn, we are addressing some immediate upgrades for our school.

Breathing New Life Into Our School

Before June 30, 2023, we are raising $250,000 to tackle urgent needs.

To encourage the LCA community, supporters have donated $50,000 in matching funds for gifts received by June 30, 2023. That means every dollar you give will be matched, doubling your impact.

Repairing Today to Prepare For Tomorrow

Our plan to raise $250,000 by June 2023 will address current needs, giving our infrastructure more life as we discern and plot out our long-term future. These infrastructure needs include:

Teaching Resources

Securing Chromebooks and textbooks for student learning

Replacing property fencing to prevent unauthorized entry

Installing new exterior doors and security cameras to ensure safety

Air Flow

Improving ventilation to enhance air quality in the school

Indoor Climate

Upgrading the heating and cooling system to offer comfortable learning

Adding outlets in classrooms to support technology needs.

Rebuilding our website to be more functional for families

Paying down accumulated deficits to become financially stable

Looking Towards Our Future

As we contemplate the years ahead, we see a growing desire for Christian education. In September 2022, our school welcomed 195 students—one of the largest enrolments in recent history. We started to waitlist children as some classrooms reached capacity. We hired more educational assistants to address student needs. For 2023/2024, we’re seeing significant interest from families who want their children to come to LCA.

By addressing our infrastructure needs, we are giving our building more life while we plot out our long-term future.
